Robert Bufford Murray, age 77, of New Market, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Mills Murray; parents, Bufford and Etta Murray; siblings, Lucy Perry, Willis Murray, Dorothy Purkey, Rosie Franklin, Arvin Murray, and Ralph Murray. He is survived by his sister, Shirley (Charlie) Patterson; brother, George (Maggie) Murray and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service 1:30 pm Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Rocky Valley Cemetery with Rev. Chris Howell officiating. Mr. Murray will lie-in-state Tuesday from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
