Ray Melvin Wright, age 72, of Morristown, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was a member of Jefferson City Church of Christ. He was preceded in death his mother, Rhoda Grace Lindsey Hay Arnott; father, B.J. Wright; and brother., George B. Wright. He is survived by his sons, Arthur Ray (Amanda) Wright and Allen (Millie) Wright; grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Jacob (Ashley) Wright, Nicole (Zach) Wright Doyle, Skylar Wright; great-grandson, Bentley Wright; sister, Roberta Eldridge; brothers, Thomas (Bobbie) Wright; nieces, Kimberly (David) Russell and Karen Eldridge; nephew, George Wright Jr. Graveside service 11:00 AM Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Jefferson Memorial Garden with Rev. Robert Shaffer officiating. Mr. Wright will lie in state on Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
