Katherine Renee Rushing, age 42, of New Market, formerly of Denham Springs, Louisiana, went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 30, 2021. She was such a bright young lady that always made the room light up. Kathy will be missed by her family and all the neighbors that drove by and waved while she sat on the front porch. She enjoyed making cards for all occasions for those she loved. We will find comfort in God’s word; And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Left to mourn Kathy’s move to her new address are her loving parents, Jonathan and Donna Rushing; sister, Anna Christine Rushing; nephew, Logan Morse; and uncles, aunts, and cousins. Ms. Rushing will lie in state on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm at Fielden Funeral Home, New Market. Graveside service to follow at 1:00 PM in Valley View Cemetery, New Market, TN with Rev. Tim Walker officiating. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
