James Paro Collins

November 21, 1939 - February 23, 2022

James Paro Collins, age 82 of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Holston Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Jean Collins; parents, Paro and Nina Collins and Nettie Collins; brother, Paul Collins; sister, Bonnie Hickman. James is survived by daughter, Lisa (Marty) Bryant; son, James (Jimmy) F. Collins; grandchildren, Danielle (Josh) Briggs, Jordan (Kaiti) Bryant, Dylan Collins; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Peyton, Presley and Kennedy Briggs; sister, Mary (Jim) Lawson and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:30pm at Blue Springs Church of God Cemetery, Strawberry Plains with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Mr. Collins will lie in state on Saturday, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Fielden Funeral Home, New Market.
