Dorothy Mae McDaniel

Dorothy Mae McDaniel, age 84 of New Market, TN passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Jefferson City, TN. Dorothy enjoyed going to town shopping only if just to look. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Verlin McDaniel; parents, Earnest (John) and Novella Carroll; brother, Robert (Bubby) Carroll; sister, Betty Jean Greene and husband Dennis. Dorothy is survived by her brothers, Charlie Carroll (Nancy) of Jefferson City, TN, Ernest Jr. Carroll (Gail) of New Market, TN; sisters, Mary McLaney, Carolyn Wright both of Jefferson City, TN; special nephew, David Holbert of Jefferson City, TN, special great niece, Khrystyna Holbert of Libby, Montana, special great nephew, Reece Holbert of Jefferson City, TN, whom she loved liked a son and a host of extended family and friends. Graveside service Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 3:30pm in Mitchell Springs Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Brewer officiating. Mrs. McDaniel will lie in state 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday at Fielden Funeral Home, New Market, TN.
