Betty Geraldine Atkins, age 71, of Rutledge, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Cora Crowe; great-grandchild, Noah Daniel; sisters, Cora Whitt and Nadine Crowe; brother, David Crowe; and sister-in-law, Teresa Crowe. She is survived by her sons, Oscar (Wendy) Miller and Jeffrey Miller; granddaughters, Melinda Daniel and Whitney (Sam) Neal; great-grandchildren, Austin, Zachery, Jonah, Wendy, Sampson, Asher, Makinley, Latisha; sister, Norma (T.H.) Ferrell; brothers, Buddy (Mary) Crowe, Donnie (Lois) Crowe, Ronnie Crowe; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7:00 PM Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Mt. Vale Church of God with Rev. Phillip Ruth officiating. Interment 2:00 PM Friday in Blackwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
