MaryAnn Paxton, a beloved soul, whose life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family, passed away peacefully at her home on July 18, 2026 to be with Her Lord and Savior, at the age of 72. Born on December 19, 1953, in Inez, Kentucky, MaryAnn was the treasured daughter of Sam and Lenora McCoy. Her gentle spirit and boundless compassion left a lasting imprint on all who knew her. MaryAnn was predeceased by her parents Sam McCoy and Lenora McCoy, brother James McCoy, Sister Ruth Huff and Brother Daniel McCoy, her son Robert "Bob" Grubb, grandchildren Jessica Pruitt, Michael Grubb, Joshua Grubb and her brother-in-law Danny Collier. Despite these profound losses, her strength and resilience shone brightly, guiding her family through times of sorrow with grace and love. She is survived by her devoted children, William "Bill" Grubb and his wife Melissa Grubb, Dianna Farley and her husband Greg Farley. Her siblings, Brenda Collier, Pauline Dotson and her husband Lee Dotson, Sam McCoy, David McCoy and his wife Mary McCoy, and Maxine Huddleston and her husband Gary Huddleston, cherished her deeply. MaryAnn's legacy continues through her nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and cherished beyond measure. A special mention must be made of her dear friend Shirley Paddy, who shared in her joys and challenges with steadfast loyalty. Known for her angelic voice, MaryAnn delighted family and friends with her love of singing. Her home was forever warmed by the presence of her beloved dogs and the laughter of her grandchildren. Her life was a symphony of love, underscored by her unwavering commitment to her family, whom she loved unconditionally. MaryAnn's family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers from Hospice, particularly Judy, for their extraordinary support and care during her final days. Their kindness provided comfort and solace to MaryAnn and her loved ones. As we bid farewell to MaryAnn, we celebrate a life well-lived, defined by love, kindness, and an enduring dedication to family. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Graveside service 10:00 am Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Deep Springs Cemetery with Rev.
