Betty Sue Stallings Nicely

Betty Sue (Stallings) Nicely, “Sissy”, age 67, of Kodak, formerly of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2026. She was a member of Shady Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains, TN. Betty loved her dog, “Sissy” like a child. She loved to dance, especially the two step, and cherished summertime at the lake camping and water skiing. She never turned away someone in need of a place to stay or food to eat. Even though she was small in stature, Betty was a force to be reckoned with, beating cancer in 2012. She was tough as nails but will always be known for her servant’s heart. Betty Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Stevie E. Nicely who was her rock in life; parents, William Buford and Lorene Glenn-Stallings; grandson, Hunter Richard; sister, Meria Charlene Stallings; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Pearl Glenn; paternal grandparents, Roy and Evelyn Stallings; and loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hubert and Gracie Nicely. She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Nicely Lovin (Brad Farley), Nicole Nicely, and Alicia Nicely (Geno Cosmah); grandchildren, “Lil” Stevie Christian Presley (Bebe), Kaylyn Lovin, Xander Cain Lovin (Zoie Johnson), Lindsey Nicely, Chelsea Nicely (Jajuan Beltran), Cassie Nicely, and Rachel Nicely; great grandchildren, Sawyer Paige Presley, Demetri Presley, Aura “sissy” Presley, Ezra “little light” Presley, Stetson Lovin, Marceline Nicely Beltran, Kaden Robertson and Grace Williams; brother, Timmy Stallings (Edyie); sister, Pamela Stallings Stiles (Wayne); sister-in-law, Cathy Nicely Wolfenbarger (Donnie); special nieces and nephews, Meria Turner, Michelle Clarke (James “Spanky” Cinnamon), Marlena Kysor, Stacey Wolfenbarger Clay, Adam Wolfenbarger, and Renee Hubbard; special sister-in-law, Kimberly Maples; special son-in-law, Shannon Richard; special uncles, Walt Hickman and Sammy Dyer; special aunts, Gloria Jean Dyer, Shelia Thornton, and Janice Hickman; special friend, Rebbeca Bright; and many other nieces, nephews, bonus children, grandchildren, cousins, and aunts. Serving as pallbearers: Christian Presley, Xander Lovin, Coty Kyser, Geno Cosmah, Jujuan Beltran, and Brad Farley. Honorary pallbearers, Steve Hillard and James “Spanky” Cinnamon. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, June 20th at 11:00 AM (don't be late like Betty Sue would normally be) at Pollard Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Greg Jones and Rev.
